The last decade witnessed the performance of the JavaScript engine browsers, in particular the significant increase. JavaScript has, over the years gone, that today has become a feature-rich and fast, slow and quite limited language.
Is the velocity can be around half of the same or comparable code written in C++, but this speed is directly dependent on the choice of web browser, and the best performance is seen in browsers using the JIT compilation techniques.
Although the language has seen a dramatic increase in performance, there are still major problems regarding the use of the memory. JavaScript applications typically consume memory 3-4 times greater than similar applications written in c++. Many browser vendors such as Opera Software, recognize this and are trying to optimize their memory usage. This problem is hopefully not in the near future.
In the absence of scientific documents, which is written in JavaScript, most of the information in the performance of a V8 and SunSpider compared only to industry benchmarks, this thesis decided to expand. The criteria is to provide information about how the JavaScript is the reference c #, C++, and other popular languages. You can think of that I have taken the GIF decoder, the XML parser and JavaScript and C++ for elementary aggregates, the tests compare the distance between languages are speed, memory usage, and responsiveness.
